Things I Love...
cringe-worthy...
I met my husband in university and over 25 years later, we’re still writing our story together. Our three creative and kind kids were my first muses - and they continue to inspire me to grow, learn and see beauty in the everyday. They remind me daily why these moments matter - because time moves quickly, but love, connection and laughter are what last.

I began my career as a teacher, but motherhood changed the way I saw everything. As my three children grew, I became increasingly aware of how quickly each stage passed. One day I was rocking babies to sleep, and before I knew it, those moments were already memories. That awareness sparked a deep desire to hold onto the details before they slipped away.

One day I was rocking babies to sleep, and before I knew it, those moments were already memories. That awareness sparked a deep desire to hold onto the details before they slipped away.
At first, I tried to do that through scrapbooking. I loved gathering photos and small pieces of our everyday life, believing that preserving them carefully could slow time just a little. But with three little ones so close in age, I realized it wasn’t the perfect pages I missed. It was the feeling of remembering.
That realization changed everything.

But with three little ones so close in age, I realized it wasn’t the perfect pages I missed. It was the feeling of remembering.
That realization changed everything.
I stopped worrying about creating something polished and began focusing on what mattered more. The perfectly imperfect photographs. The honest moments. The ones that brought me back to how it felt to be there.
That shift naturally led me to photography. Not to chase perfect light or flawless images, but to preserve real moments I could return to again and again. The quiet ones. The loud ones. The in-between moments that tell the truest story.
I still find so much joy in being my family’s historian. These days, that looks like a yearly photo book filled with our family’s adventures, a simple way to revisit our story together. Watching my kids flip through those pages and smile always fills my heart. Throughout our home, the photos on our walls quietly tell our family’s story and remind my children how deeply they’re loved.

The way I photograph families today is shaped by my own story. I know how quickly time passes and how meaningful it is for children to see themselves reflected in their home. That belief guides everything I do. I create space for families to slow down, hold onto what matters most, and fill their homes with art that reminds their children how deeply they are loved.
