I met my husband in university and over 25 years later, we’re still writing our story together. Our three creative and kind kids were my first muses and they continually inspire me to grow, learn and see beauty in the everyday. They remind me daily why these moments matter - because although time moves quickly, it is love, connection and laughter that last.

with my family
I began my career as a teacher, but motherhood changed the way I saw everything. As my three children grew, I became increasingly aware of how quickly each stage passed. One day I was rocking babies to sleep, and before I knew it, those moments were already memories.
But if I’m honest, the desire to preserve those moments ran deeper than that.
When children see themselves in photographs displayed in their home, laughing with those they love, held close and wrapped in the arms of the people who love them, it tells them something powerful:
You belong here.
You are loved here.
You matter here.
Throughout our home, photographs quietly tell our family’s story. They remind my children that they are seen. And that is the heart behind everything I do.
Growing up, I didn’t always feel fully seen, heard, or understood. Becoming a mother made me fiercely aware of how much that matters. I want my children to know, without question, that they are known. That they belong. That they are loved exactly as they are.
That realization shaped the way I photograph families.
For me, photography isn’t about perfect light or perfectly posed smiles. It’s about connection. It’s about creating space where children feel safe to be themselves. Whether they are loud, quiet, playful, shy or all of the above, I strive to capture them in a way that reflects who they truly are.

The way I photograph families today is shaped by my own story. I know how quickly time passes and how meaningful it is for children to see themselves reflected in their home. That belief guides everything I do. I create space for families to slow down, hold onto what matters most, and fill their homes with art that reminds their children how deeply they are loved.
